10th annual Día de los Muertos Festival at the City of Raleigh Museum on Fayetteville St, Friday Nov 6, 6 to 9. Big community ofrenda by Lety Alvarez, Baile Folklórico Vicky, face painting, pan de muerto. Is it ok to bring a photo for the altar if you're not Mexican? Don't want to be weird about it.

We brought a photo of my dad last year and the volunteers were so kind about it. It's a community altar, they want people to participate.

The dancers fill up the main room fast, get there around 6 if you want a spot to see. Pan de muerto went quick too.

Free and super family friendly. It gets warm inside with the crowd so dress light under your coat.
