A Celebration of Diwali at the NCMA is Friday Nov 6 starting at 5. Music, dance, a vendor bazaar, food pop ups across the campus. My neighbor said it's huge. Same night as the Día de los Muertos thing downtown so trying to figure out if we can do both. How long do people usually stay?

It is huge. Parking lots fill by 5:30, we parked at the greenway lot off Blue Ridge and walked.

Bring a light jacket, a lot of the dance performances are outside on the lawn and it cools off fast once the sun goes down.

Good to know about the lots. So 5 to 7 at the museum then head downtown is realistic?

Yeah that works, it's 15 minutes downtown. The food lines are the longest part, grab samosas the second you get there.
