NC Chinese Lantern Festival opens Nov 21 at Koka Booth in Cary, 6 to 10 every night through mid January. Everything I see says 40+ new lanterns this year. We skipped last year because of the crowds. Is a weeknight actually better or is it packed no matter what? And is the path ok for a stroller?

Weeknight, and go right at 6. By 7:30 it's shoulder to shoulder near the lake.

Paths are paved and fine for a stroller, it's the bridge area that bottlenecks. We did a Tuesday in early December and it was totally manageable.

Watch the acrobatics show schedule, it's the thing my kids still talk about. Tickets are timed so buy ahead, they do sell out on Fridays and Saturdays.

Tuesday at 6 it is. Do you remember if parking was included or extra?

We parked in the lot right there and I don't remember paying separately, but check when you book, they change stuff year to year.
