Our primary bath in Brier Creek is straight out of 1998. Brass fixtures, garden tub nobody uses, the works. I want someone who does the design and the build so I'm not playing middleman between a designer and a contractor.
Kitchen might be next year so bonus if they do both.

Design phase was the longest part honestly. Construction itself moved along once cabinets showed up. Plan for longer than you think.

Whoever you go with, make sure the permit is pulled if they're moving plumbing. Good design build firms handle that for you, just confirm it.
