New light art installation downtown, limited run

A new light art installation went up downtown and got picked up by local outlets yesterday. It is temporary, so if you have been meaning to do a downtown evening walk this is the excuse.

I do not have a full map of where every piece sits. Downtown Raleigh Alliance keeps the current public art and lighting maps, so check with them before you park somewhere and walk the wrong direction. If anyone has actually seen it, say which blocks.

We did the Moore Square loop last night and saw lit pieces but I could not tell you if that was the new install or something that has been there.

Good excuse to eat downtown and walk it off. Kids are old enough now that an evening out does not turn into a meltdown.

Fair question. The Alliance is the one to ask, I do not want to promise a paper map that may not exist.
