HVAC company that won't try to sell me a whole new system?

Upstairs unit is blowing warm air and the builder warranty just ran out (of course). Every company I call wants to quote a replacement before they've even looked. Anybody honest out there? We're in Wendell but happy to have someone drive.

Air Experts on Rupert Road. They've been around since the late 80s. Tech found a bad capacitor on ours, like a $200 fix, when the other guy wanted to sell us a new heat pump.

Comfort Monster is the old Raleigh company that rebranded. They were out within a couple hours when our AC died in July. Good people.

@quietlurker919 did Air Experts charge a diagnostic fee to come out?

Yeah, a normal service call fee. Totally worth it compared to a new system quote.

Yellow Dot doesn't charge extra for weekends which saved us when it went out on a Saturday.

the fee is the point

Air Experts again. They also did our water heater, handy that they do both.
