The old service station on Chatham Street reopened today as a restaurant called Lloyd's Full Service. 107 E Chatham St, Cary. Phone is 919 853 7447.
They kept the bones of the station, bays and all, which I was worried they would gut. Have not eaten there yet, just walked by on the way to the depot. Anybody get in on opening day?

Adaptive reuse done right is rarer than it should be. Most people would have scraped that lot and put up something with fake brick veneer.

Parking down there on a weekend is the only thing that will keep me away. Anybody know if they have their own lot or is it the deck?

Deck is a short walk and free on weekends last I checked. Worth it.
