September at Red Hat: Malcolm Todd on the 16th, Young Thug on the 19th

Two more on the Red Hat calendar worth flagging. Malcolm Todd on Wednesday, September 16 at 7:30, and Young Thug on Saturday, September 19 at 8.

The September shows are usually the good ones weather wise. Still warm but the evenings settle down. Anyone been to a midweek show there? Trying to decide if a Wednesday night downtown is realistic when you live out in Wake Forest.

Midweek is actually easier. Less competition for parking and the getting out part is quicker. Coming back up Capital at 11 on a Wednesday is fine.

From Wake Forest I would say plan on an hour door to seat with parking. It is not the drive that gets you, it is the last mile downtown.

September evenings there are genuinely pleasant. August is the one to survive.

That settles it, we will do the Wednesday one and skip the Saturday crowd.
