Therapist recommendations (anxiety, maybe some burnout)

Long time lurker. This is a little personal but I figure this board is honest. Looking for a therapist in the Raleigh or Cary area for anxiety and work burnout. How did you find someone that clicked?

Good on you for asking. Psychology Today is a good place to filter, but personally I had a great experience with Manasa Chitluri at New Perspective Wellness. Very practical, gave me actual tools.

Ashley Dunn at Aspire Counseling Group helped my husband a lot. Easy to talk to.

Edmund Buckman at Red Pine Counseling. He's worked with a lot of trauma and stress stuff and did telehealth, which helped with my schedule.

Don't be discouraged if the first one isn't a fit. It took me two tries.

Thanks everyone, really appreciate it. Reached out to Red Pine about telehealth and have an intake call next week.

Another vote for Edmund Buckman at Red Pine. Saw him over telehealth for about six months when work had me completely fried, and he was really practical about the burnout side of it. Good call reaching out to them.
